not seeing the velar rings on the stipe

that Kerrigan mentions for subsubensis, nor the clustered growth.

also, original habitat was sandy soil in Riverside County.

little good original material found on which to base a species concept, though.

this is certainly an Agaricus, tho! :)

At least pinkish on cap.

love that flocculent partial veil, and I can almost see some of that red staining, typical of the species, on the cap…or is it wishful thinking on my part? ;)
