Observation 31054: Otidea (Pers.) Bonord.

It was shaped like tree ears, but was a slightly lighter colour (more light brown or grey). It was also growing on the ground (it may have been from buried wood however). The observation was not dry, however, the examples were very sturdy to the point of feeling almost like cardboard.
