The available description of this species is very brief. It is accompanied by two photographs, which I suspect that Walt relied upon for identification. I agree with Walt that his photograph bears a striking resemblance to Yves Lamoureux’s photographs. I have recently received a portion of a collection of all provisional taxa proposed by Yves. This was courtesy of Yves and herbarium of the Cercle des Mycologues de Montre’al. Therefore, should persons photograph taxa appearing similar to Yves’ photos, I can check dried material against potential type material from Quebec.
