Observation 31681: Amanita sect. Lepidella sensu Bas

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: 8\11\09 cap 4.5 cm across stalk 14 cm bulb 3 cm Scales up and down the stalk. reddish brown heavily concentrated on the cap and the bulb. Vail remnants hanging down from the parameter of the cap. Scales easily knocked off. no color change when bruised Odor slightly chlorine like . Spore print white found growing solitary under mixed hardwoods. Tulip trees, maple and oak, hickory, Beech.
At first thought it to be A Atkinsoniana. or A daucipes but has different bulb.
