Cap width 11 cm smooth light brick red with some yellow areas. Convex smooth with a wavy margin. cap staining blue when bruised. slightly sticky when wet causing forest debris to adhere to it. Pore surface yellow turning to light orange and then brown in age. pore surface stains blue quickly. pores attached to stem. Stem 5cm x 3 cm yellow smooth bruising blue quickly. spore print olive brown. Taste mild slightly bitter no odor. Flesh yellow
Found under Beech Oak hickory forest.
