Notes: Cap Width 10 cm round, broadly convex, smooth dry, Yellow. Pore surface Yellow not staining free from stem. Stem 12 cm x 1.5cm thick. White at the base then turning yellow smooth no reticulations. flesh light yellow non staining or staining brown over a long period. Taste mild no odor
Found in mixed woods Hickory Oak Beech. This was growing solitary on the north side of a hill among some ferns and a few species of Leotia lubrica.
