Observation 31967: Hypholoma (Fr.) P. Kumm.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Not really sure about these. They were growing on the ground in mixed woods, mostly Bay, Madrone, and some Live Oak.
They are relatively small, caps up to 4.6 cm across, hygrophanous, and not viscid.
The spore print was purple to purple-black. Spores were appox.7.0-9.0 X 4.0-5.5 microns with a germ pore.
The stipe was narrowly hollow.
