Cap 2 to 4 cm yellow brown tawny Ocher with a lighter color at the margin. clam shell shaped, cap surface rough bumpy Attached to wood substrate.
Pore surface ocher becoming brown where attached to substrate Pore surface daedaleoid. pores at 1 to 2 mm. Found growing on Oak in a shelving manner. Spore print pending
