Notes: There were hundreds of these, both match sticks and cups, covering a single fallen tree. For some reason I always have great difficulty photographing this species.

Not trying to override your discovery, but actually emphasize the significance. These are actually from what I understand two stages of the ascomycete. Crinula caliciiformis being the anamorph stage. Wanted to rename it in case anyone was to search for it and could find your excellent examples.
