Wife and I go hunting, She uses a Cannon Rebel XSI, with a bounce flash, that recently got sent back because it would not communicate with the focus. New one just got here this week, hope to try it out and get some better pics after the rains.

On many cameras you can turn the flash down (but not on automatic mode).

If you can’t do that, you can partially cover the flash with your finger or some tissue paper.

I should seperate them. Took them on the 15 and just now got around to editing. They might actually be two different sp. I not happy with these pics, having trouble with new flash over exposures.

The one with redwood duff is probably Caulorhiza umbonata. The other one looks like a Hebeloma, but it’s pretty hard to be sure.
