A large fruiting of L. percevalii over a very large area. The patch was much more extensive than shown in these photos.
This also produced by far the largest fruiting bodies of this species that I have ever seen. The largest cap measuring approximately 7.5 inches across (my knife is 9.5 inches [handle & blade]).
