Big mushrooms

Caps are about 8" across. Wondering if this might be something like Lactarius argillaceifolius (megacarpus). We had something similar looking identified at the Santa Cruz Fungus Festival a few weeks back. This has different coloring but was growing in the open versus the earlier specimen which was growing under shaded conditions.
