The “hairs,” if present, would have been very small and white, appearing in tiers around the margin of the cup. If there were no visible hairs, it is not C. speciosa. Unless you have some clearer photography, we’ll never really know.

I am not an expert but I will say that it is Cookeina Specia and not Cookeina Kuntze
