the annulus was not apparent unless you enlarged the photo. which I now did.

Look closely

and you’ll see that it has a thin annulus, still covering the gills on most of them. So, it’s not tabescens.

Unlikely to be A. tabescens — doesn’t look like it, the habitat, the location, etc…
