Recognized by sight: compressed stem, undulating pileus, white stipe and pileus, yellowing of cap margin with age

Based on microscopic features: Spores 7-8 X 4-5 w/small amyloid warts, almost non-existent fusoid-ventricose cheileocystidia (See photos) Pleurocystidia present but very rare and only part way up the lamellae
