Notes: Observation from the “Spring Fungi of the Sierra Nevada”, June 9th, 2005, Yuba Pass region.

Id’ed by others. Personally I had a hard telling the difference between these and Calbovista subsculpta. But others said they are different.

This second photo looks like Calbovista subsculpta…by the way the cracks are turning bright yellow and then deep olive green, and the scales towards the bottom…… of course…what do the spores, capillitia and exo/endo tissues look like?
