Notes: Observation from the “Spring Fungi of the Sierra Nevada”, June 9th, 2005, Yuba Pass region.

The main id on these is the knots of mycellium at the base of the clusters. The second photo is of mushrooms found after a day of frost and snow. The cracking on the caps in this photo is due to freezing.
