Notes: This fungus appears annually and fruits several times a season in one of local schoolyards on stomped-out soil covered with scarce grass, under large old birches (Betula pendula). The human influence possibly explains the frequent sightings – the fungus is listed as rare in the 2008 Red Book of Novosibirsk District with a single observation in the North-East part of our district.
