Cap viscid, taste mild, not bitter. Taste was mostly unpleasant, and slightly like cucumber, but certainly not bitter.
Adding micro details.
The micro-shot is of the gill edge at 400x in KOH. Here you can see the cheilocystidia on a non-fertile edge.
So, with the existence of cheilocystidia this confirms the id of T. dryophilum. And this species is not bitter, but unpleasant and slightly like cucumber.
