but echinatum has longer spines. Maybe curtisii or marginatum?

I thought L. perlatum has a mixture of larger and smaller warts, in a kinda hex pattern, where they can be rubbed off as single warts. This looks more like Lycoperdon echinatum, with the pyramidal warts.
