Notes: Found growing gregarious in an area full of leaf debris and twigs in the woods on an old,long abandon logging road, Under Oak/Hickory. Identification taken from 12 specimens Cap waxy brown convex to bell shaped with umbo depressed, 3 to 4.5 cm slightly wrinkled waxy looking thick fleshed with small white Vail remnants on the margin gills close lighter brown ,attached to the stem 3 to 6 cm long 3 mm to 2 cm thick. some have fibrous remnants others are smooth. spore print yellow Ocher.
Most likely this is a Tubaria but it is unlike others I have found. These are much more meatier. Not at all thin fleshed.
