Notes: Growing in soil underneath a bottlebrush tree.
The gills were hidden by a veil when picked. They are a dark brown.
Flesh of stalk is originally white, then slowly bruises yellow after being cut (see photo)
Location: Picked near a sidewalk in Pasadena, CA (growing happily among cigarette butts!)
