Observation 427: Ramaria Fr. ex Bonord.
When: 2002-01-09
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found during a foray for the 2002 Santa Cruz Fungus Fair.

I now think this is most likely a Ramaria near Ramaria stricta. However it could be Lentaria or even a Clavicorona (some of the branches seem to have the typical crown like end of Clavicorna, but not all do).

Recognized by sight: Branching and growing on wood. Not sure the branching really is right for Clavicorona.
