Notes:
These little white morels show up every year about this time. It might be a Verpa. It is very small and cap is not attached. Found growing under Hickory on a unused logging road. found in an area of a fallen beech and large accumulation of leaf litter. Found two growing very close together.

Ridges are sharp-edged. Verpas have wrinkles or folds.
