I think you might of misunderstood, P. atrospora does not have a veil either, I was just trying to illustrate that its not always as simple as P. conopilus. :)

Edit: With a more or less well developed veil, I would imagine this would key into something like Pannucia rather then subgenus Psathyrella where P. conopilus/atrospora are in the Smith keys.

My observation was just another under the guise of Psathyrella conopilus till I scoped it. I wonder if this one should be moved to Parasola as well…

Does not have a veil. :) And it has some lookalikes, see my observation of Psathyrella atrospora. Also, its kind of hard to believe that all the Parasola/Psathyrella conopilus observations are the same,
