Observation 44816: Polyporales sensu lato
When: 2010-03-18
No herbarium specimen

This unusual fungi was found growing on the top edge of a felled tree stump. (There was also in the background and very tiny)some black fungi which I missed in recording their description. The main fungi was varying in size but was about
4-5cm at the main body. There seems to be several stages of growth and varying mass shapes and colour. I have not seen this fungi before. There was only the one group found in the vicinity.
