Observation 44829: Agaricales sensu lato
When: 2010-03-18
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These drooping “finger shaped/hand shaped” fungi were found on the underside of a huge fallen log. Droplets of moisture were falling from their tips as you would see when defrosting something. They also seemed to be loosing their mass as this was happening. The largest shell shaped specimen was about 3-4cm across when I took this image. The last image in the group was the largest specimen, and seemed to have a fringed foot that continued completely around the fungi. It was about 5-6cm across at the widest part.
