Observation 44840: Exidia glandulosa (Bull.) Fr.

When: 2010-03-18

Collection location: State Forest near Comboyne, New South Wales, Australia [Click for map]

Who: Ian Dodd (kk) (www.kundabungkid.com) Australia (kundabungkid)

No specimen available

I have really no idea what this is. Clive Shirley is probably the best bet. " Clive I need you please" There is some type of millipede about 1’oclock. At first I thought it may have been Bird droppings, but it does have some fungi qualities. The whole thing was about 20mm and as far as I could gather I could not detect faeces aroma. I definately wasnt going to taste it. (for jrussula)
I will email Clive for his opinion in case he misses this entry. (have emailed Clive.)

I dont recognise what this is but think its likely a fungus :)

Something from the Tremella or Dacrymyces genus is possibly a look at the basida under microscope would be needed to confirm what its could be.
