The caps were about 50-60mm across and the fungi was only just above the substrate. I had to pull the fallen leaves away to actually get a shot. I didnt see any noticeable staining. I suppose I should have cut the stipe. KK

How large, and was there any red or orange staining??

These look like a Leucoagaricus to me, but maybe Leucocoprinus.
Reminds me of La. meleagris, but that mushroom stains readily.
