Recognized by sight: This too was found in deep duff under mixed conifers. Cap is brown and slightly “hairy”. Gills attached. Flesh of both cap and stem was greyish brown, dense and firm. Stem darkened slightly with handling. No ring or veil remnants. Earthy smell
