Observation 45473: Cortinarius (Pers.) Gray
When: 2010-05-16
Who: bbqbishop
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were found in a field, growing in damp mossy soil. Cow dung was within a couple of meters (a cattle field). There was a slight purple tinge on the stalk when picked. I’m not too sure how to identify anymore specifics on it. I’m a complete n00b when it comes to identifying Mushrooms and was wondering if they were safe to eat.
