It would appear that Amauroderma, Haddowia and Humphreya are all near-equally viable guesses on any of these stalked, terrestrial Ganodermoid species without at least basidiospore examination to narrow it down. I am curious to know whether there are any naked-eye indicators in addition to those outlined in the Cortland paper for determining one genus or another.
