Dr. Desjardin gave the impression that these two separate collections which I’ve grouped into a single observation (the first two photos and last two photos) could constitute different species.

Proper naming of these ephemeral white Mycena is going to take someone with a much more comprehensive understanding of the taxonomy than myself. There is definitely sufficient variation among these to warrant some degree of individual naming. As far as I know, Prof. Desjardin is conducting research on these or has done so in the past.
