Collection location: Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Bob Zuberbuhler (Bob Z)

No specimen available

A medium sized stalked, gilled mushroom found in an area shaded by both conifers and hardwoods. The top of the cap was covered by warty excrescences and the rim had filmy remnants of a partial veil. The gills were white, as was the stalk. There was no well defined upper stalk ring but the base was somewhat swollen. The first two pictures are of the button stage.
