When: 2010-05-21
Collection location: Yosemite National Park, California, USA [Click for map]
Specimen available
Notes:
These were growing in fir-cedar mixed woods.
The caps were up to 5.3 cm across and were dry and appeared not hygrophanous.
The spores were fairly variable in size, ~8.3-11.2 X 5.9-7.2 microns.
KOH on the cap and stipe gave only a slightly darker brown reaction.
I’m not really sure what section to put them in….?
