Observation 46237: Panaeolus papilionaceus group

When: 2010-06-03

Collection location: Bartow Co., Georgia, USA [Click for map]

Who: AmatoxinApocalypse (AmatoxinApocalypse)

No specimen available

These were the largest Pan paps I have ever seen, they averaged about 8-9 inches long so I am putting them in the Panaeolus papilionaceus group. They had several characteristics that made them appear different than what I call Panaeolus papilionaceus.
