Observation 46254: Leccinum rugosiceps (Peck) Singer

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Very small pores. Growing under hard wood. Taste was not bitter or acidic, however, but I thought pleasant, although fairly non-descript. There is a nice reddish-brown netting pattern on the stalk, although it was flat and had no texture.
