Notes: Wow Just back from sending the last month in a tent at plum orchard lake getting drenched by torrential rain,ticks, sharing a tent with a huge spider I’m back to civilization for a while to put some of the stuff I found on MO.

Fist Russula earli found may 27 2010 under Beech, Red Oak gills adnated widely spaced gills yellowish very much resembling a hygrophorus. (waxy cap) cap straw yellow convex. pilus not easily detached Taste mildly acrid. Stalk tapered. spore print white KOH Reddish on cap.
