Notes: Found under mixed conifer forest.
These were by far the most common species found. Above 6500 feet, they were everywhere. And I mean everywhere, 1000’s, maybe 10,000’s of them on each hill side. I started out picking my way between them, and then gave up, I had to just start walking on them to make it across the hillside. Not sure why, but the conditions were really good for these one this weekend.
