No I’m not sure it is Cantharellus, the only reason I proposed that name was because of what is said at the link that Irene provided, this is definitely the same mushroom that is shown there.
I didn’t taste this and doubt it would be any good, if it is tasty it would be hard to get enough for a good meal, the largest specimen in my image is only about 15mm in diameter.
