Notes: This specimen was growing on the ground in primarily mixed conifer woods.
Couldn’t get a spore print but the few spores measured were ~8.3-9.3 X 3.2-3.9 microns. They seemed to be mostly smooth but the micro shots are less than ideal.
The pinkish tips were relatively blunt.
By the process of elimination from the SFSU Spring Fungi list, I’m tentatively offering Ramaria coulterae as an ID based on the stature, coloring and spore size.
