Notes: This specimen was collected for the Yosemite Fungal Survey.
Medium sized(~ 10 cm high), it was growing on the ground in mixed conifer woods.
This is a leggy species with apices usually a darker brown than the branches.
Could not get a good spore print but the spores were relatively long and wide ~ 10.8-13.0 X 5.0-6.0 microns and appeared somewhat warted.
I won’t even venture a guess on this one as nothing in the SFSU Spring Fungi list seemed to be close enough.
