cap 1.5-3.0 cm wide conical at first expanding in age, light brown hygrophanous some what becoming same color as stalk, a bit oily of greasy feeling when damp, margin some times darker, interior (flesh) pale white .5-3 mm thick
Stalk, light brown, not viscid, longer then the cap width 4.0-6.5 cm long, 3×6mm-3×3mm wide, hollow and round or flattened with a vertical depression on one side, interior of stalk cream white and fibrous (with fibers).
Gills lighter then cap or stalk, pale cream,
medium close with intermediates at the margin of cap.
