I don’t remember that taste descriptor being used in Hesler and Smith’s Lactarius monograph :)

I would say Lactarius definitely Tuberale :)

Did you taste the latex? If so how was it?

I was brushing away a piece of grass to shoot the small mushroom when I accidentally touched it. Milk almost exploded from the thing. The first shot was taken within seconds of the very minimal damage.
