I’ve been seeing images of Cladonia didyma on the internet and it seems I did not pay attention to the differences you mention in your comment. Thanks, Jason.

looks more like C. didyma

C. incrassata has really short stubby stalks, and the squamules would be sorediate underneath. This looks more like C. didyma to me. The deeply-incised, almost disintegrating, squamules are typical for that species.
