Recognized by sight: Some residual volval patches on cap, striations near edge of cap, closely appended volva at base of stipe, and no annulus that I can make out.

membranous but collapsed onto the stipe base? Or is it a layer of material which is essentially fused to an enlarged base, and showing a gutterlike collar atop? I find albocreata occasionally here in PA. The cap color combo for this obs looks like abocreata.
