Observation 47970: Boletus regius sensu Thiers

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: These are somewhat older specimens.
The taste was mild.
The stipe did have some reticulation on the upper portions.
The spores averaged about 14.5 X 5.0 microns. Some appeared guttulate.
They seemed to be growing near a true fir or other conifers.
