Observation 48121: Otidea (Pers.) Bonord.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Yellow interior and exterior, to ~ 4 cm wide, 5 high (including white stem). No pink tones at all. spores 11.5×6.5 microns, 2 ‘oil drops’. Paraphyses curved at end but not hooked. We see this regularly at Walking Iron, but I have never known with confidence what species it is.
