Observation 48132: Gymnopilus luteus (Peck) Hesler

Gymnopilus junonius (?) bigger cap 11 cm stem 10 cm long, curved x 1.2 cm at top, spores weakly dextrinoid, ~8×5 microns.

Recognized by sight: Growing on a side-ways log above the soil in small groupings or singularly. Really yellow. Pretty evident green staining. Bet they smelled good.
