Notes: Found in northern WI pine forest sandy soil. Almost no sac and VERY flat on the bottom. Definite gray tinge to the cap. Large spacing around the gills and stem. No ring.

It looks a bit similar to the completely white, weak-volva’d species that has been called Amanita vaginata var. alba in the sense of North American authors.
